Top Four Reasons to Volunteer at the WLA Annual Conference. 4.
It's an easy, short-term-commitment way to get involved and meet new
people. And the Number 1 reason to volunteer: You get to attend a party! (Time and location not disclosed till you sign up!) Volunteer assignments include but are not limited to the following areas:
We also
need help with a new and fun event this year, called a Dine Around. "Where Do I Sign Up?" Volunteering is easy. Just contact Cheryl Becker, Local Arrangements Committee Co-Chair, at cbecker@scls.lib.wi.us or 608-246-7973, and she'll add your name to the People Power List. Be sure to give her your phone number and email address. Except for the Dine Around, it is not necessary to indicate what tasks you can cover. You will be assigned to an area, and the conference committee member in charge of that area will contact you. Questions? Please contact Cheryl. Thank you in advance for providing People Power for this year's conference. Let's all help celebrate "Libraries...A Basic Freedom!" |
