Learn the basic rules of creating style sheets, the power CSS provides, and some cool tips and tricks. Basic web design, including basic HTML knowledge, is required.

Melinda Orebaugh discusses why librarians need to be leaders in today’s fast-paced, ever changing library world. She provides practical tips on how to build your leadership skills and then tells you how to apply them to become a more effective professional. Melinda’s presentation will be followed by round table discussions of what it means to be an effective leader in your library, community, and WLA. Nancy McClements, Leanne Hansen and Becca Berger will lead these round table discussions. After the program, all registrants are welcome to join the WLA Board of Directors at a reception for WeLead proteges from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
