I have days when my days are dictated by the number of post-it notes I have tacked up in my office, and I know many of you use the same method of maintaining order in your work spaces. I'm here today to give you the freedom of circular filing the note on your desk to register for the upcoming WLA conference!
First, this year's conference will be held Tuesday, October 31 to Friday, November 3.
The conference registration form is now online. Register by October 2 to take advantage of early rates of $110.00 for the full conference and $80.00 for individual days for members, and $175.00 for full conference and $130.00 for days for non-members. Students, Friends, Trustees, and unemployed members pay $85.00 for the full conference and $75.00 daily. Guests accompanying a conference registrant can attend for $25.00. As always, meal functions are an additional charge. Registration rates will increase after October 2nd.
Book your room at the Kalahari Resort and Conference Center by calling 1-877-525-2427. The conference room rate is $99.00 plus tax for up to 4 people in the room. Additional guests will incur a $15.00 per person charge. Please note, when you make your reservation, a room deposit of one night's room fee plus tax will be charge. Cancellation policy for individual reservations: is 72 hours, or more, prior to arrival to receive full refund less $25.00 processing fee. Less than 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival forfeits entire deposit. Please plan your reservations accordingly. For more info on the hotel, check their website http://www.kalahariresort.com. A fabulous line up of programs, meetings, and other activities are listed by day and time. Attend a luncheon, visit the exhibits, have a book signed, attend sessions that interest you, take a tour, and make connections with your friends and colleagues from around the state.
