Strategic Plan
The WLA Strategic Plan was revised in 2010.
The role of units and committees is to support the mission of the organization through activities which advance the association's major goals and objectives. Of course, the focus of each unit and committee varies, depending upon the purpose for which it was established. Your unit should review the strategic plan at the beginning of the year, or whenever a new initiative is considered. Units and committees also match budget requests to strategic goals and objectives. When you submit your annual budget in October, you will also be asked to submit any new objectives or activities you intend to accomplish in the next year.
