Position Classifications for Public Libraries

New edition published in 2005 includes the publication on CD-ROM and in print. A guide for administrators developing position descriptions for their employees; to use as a companion to the annual Salary and Fringe Benefit Survey. The Position Classification includes position descriptions for every job in all sizes of public libraries as well as public library systems. Each position description includes a list of duties, required knowledge and abilities, physical demands, mental requirements, environmental working conditions, equipment used and required education/experience. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) guidelines are also included.
