WLA Literary Awards Committee

Duties of the Literary Awards Committee:

selects additions to the list of Notable Wisconsin Authors, and provides biographical information for the list;

selects the recipient of the RR DonnelleyAward;

assumes responsibility for all WLA activities related to the granting of literary awards,

constructs an annual list of publications by Wisconsin authors,

directs the Discover Wisconsin Authors Week annual project, and

annually selects no more than ten books to receive outstanding recognition awards.

The Committee consists of ten members appointed by the Read Section leadership. The chairs for 2011 are: Amy Lutzke and Jean Anderson.
