Swap-Meet April 3, 2003
5:30 PM, Reception-UW-Milwaukee Libraries, 4th Floor Conference Center
What a great idea!
How did they do that?
Maybe this will work at my library!
Have you ever found yourself, post-conference, wishing for
that bit of realia-strategy, template or handout-to enable you to recreate
that colleague's 'really nifty idea' for outreach or instruction? If so,
here is your opportunity.
In order to participate directly, bring 50 copies of your
flyer, handout, guide or strategy suitable for distribution (swapping).
Include any instructions, attributions (as required and/or necessary)
and your name and contact information. Then, feel free to collect from
the assortment of materials as provided by other swap-meet participants.
You are welcome to display other items (banners, posters,
CDs) for which copying may be inconvenient or cost-prohibitive. For these
items, include your name and contact information. You may wish to include
a descriptive handout regarding these items suitable for distribution.
Electronic copies of your 'nifty idea' or links to other
web resources/products can be submitted to Karen
Dunn (kdunn@library.wisc.edu)
for posting to this Conference web site.
All conference attendees are welcome to browse swap-meet
materials to take notes or to visit with swap-meet participants (indirect
participation).
