Welcome to Manitowoc!
Whether you’re a first time attendee or you've been to many WAAL conferences, I'd like to welcome you to the 2008 WAAL Annual Conference. We have an exciting range of programs for you. I'm impressed with how many of the programs are presented by your Wisconsin library colleagues. We have a fine group of people giving poster sessions that you won't want to miss.
In addition to the formal learning opportunities, I encourage you to take time to network and brainstorm with your counterparts at other institutions. Breaks are an excellent time to grab a snack and some ideas! And, of course we have some fun planned… I hope you brought your comfy clothes!
The Planning Committee spent nearly a year to provide you with a meaningful conference; please let us know how we did. If you have complaints, we'll sign you up for the 2009 conference!
So, if this is your first WAAL conference, get out and meet people! If this is your 20th conference, share what you know! And please don't forget to check your e-mail for a conference evaluation link!
