Call for Best Practices

The WAAL Information Literacy Committee is seeking your input on effective ways to implement and teach established Information Literacy Competencies.

"Best practice" may be defined as any practice you find effective in instruction or implementation of the information literacy competencies listed below. Instructional practices might include worksheets, exercises, hands-on activities, techniques for interaction, group discussion methods, demonstrations, etc. Implementation methods might include planning tips, goals and objectives, meeting presentation techniques, handouts, ways to identify and contact key players, critical committee memberships, etc.

With your permission, we may want to incorporate your best practice(s) into this web site. Please be sure to include all acknowledgements for materials attributed to other sources.
