2005 WAPL Spring Conference
Radisson Paper Valley Hotel, Appleton
May 11-13, 2005
Join your colleagues in a celebration of “Public Libraries for the Public
Good” at the 2005 WAPL Spring Conference to be held at the Radisson Paper
Valley Hotel in Appleton May 11 – 13.
Change is a constant in libraries. From reader’s advisory to viewer’s
advisory; from municipal libraries to library districts, public libraries
never cease evolving. Yet our core mission and values remain constant.
Public Libraries exist for the Public Good. Despite TABOR, privatization, or
all the technological change that has taken place in the last 20 years,
public libraries still exist to enrich and serve our diverse communities.
Join your friends and colleagues to exchange views, attend workshops, and
enjoy the amenities to be found in Downtown Appleton at the Heart of
Wisconsin’s third largest metropolitan area. It is a “must see” destination
for those interested in fine dining, shopping, and the performing arts.
Appleton is also home to Fox River Mall, the second largest shopping mall in
the state. Fill out the registration form soon.
