The WLA WeLead Task Force is pleased to announce the selection of the following protégés from more than 30 applications for the positions for the 2010-2010 WeLead class:

Cynthia Bachhuber, Campus Librarian, Globe University - Middleton, paired with Karen Jander, Head of the Serials Dept., University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Molly Hamm, Research Librarian, Cogdell Spencer Erdman, is paired with Mark Rozmarynowski, Librarian, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point

Cheryl Nessman, Director of Library Support Services for the UW-College Libraries, is paired with Sue Riehl, Public/Technical Services Librarian, Carroll University, Waukesha.

Teresa Schmidt, Library Director, Mercer Public Library, is paired with Carol A. Anderson, Library Director, Spring Green Community Library.

Kelly Wochinske, Librarian, Milwaukee Public Library, is paired with Leah Langby, Library Development and Youth Services Coordinator, Indianhead Federated Library System, Eau Claire.

During the three year initiative selected participants will be given:

• a one-year WLA membership;
• stipends to attend the WLA annual conference for three years;
• a stipend to attend one section conference during the three-year initiative;
• an appointment to a WLA committee;
• special leadership programming opportunities;
• and opportunities to network with their mentor.
